Afternoon everyone.

I was just wondering what people generally do when preparing for a new kitten arrival.

Its been 2 years since I had last done it and it doesn't sound like long at all, but I already feel that its a new experience again!

I am starting a list of things I will need:
Scratching post, litter tray and litter etc...

But is there any advise or certain things that you would definatly recommend to do/get when you are expecting a new kitten?

Please click on the "Cat Care" hyperlink at the top of every page of TCS. There are a number of relevant articles that should provide you with the information that you're looking for. "Bringing Home A New Cat" is probably the most on-point article of all.

Of course if you have questions that are not answered by these articles (or elsewhere on the internet) there are always members who are ready and able to help.

Hi! I am expecting 2 new kittens in a few weeks... I am just slowly chipping away at everything i think i will need. first i am making plans for vet care... i just moved so my previous vet is pretty far away.

i found out about shots ... spaying... etc.

now i am into the fun part... figuring out what food/litter i am going to transition them into when they get here.

after that ... i get to do the part i really love... i work at PetSmart... lol, so i get to buy them fun stuff... i already have cat carriers bowls, litterboxes essentials... lol, i get to do collars... tags... beds... etc!

I got a new Kitten last Nov. I showed her to my Old Cat Coco first because I knew she would except her. I also bought her alot of Toys and Kitten food. You will need Kitten Food. I got a kitten in Nov of 2006 too. Make sure everything is safe for the Kitten. Also make sure it is 3 months or more. I did catch Oreo nursing on Coco. Any of you have other Cats? I will tell you how to introduce them if you do.
