A cat who goes hunting for the tinned tuna in a bowl that also contains chives, tomato, mushrooms, garlic salt, cheese, butter and tomato chutney...

I think this whole diet think is making him bonkers! I leave the room for ONE minute and find my darling, innocent boy with his head buried in my dinner, before i've even managed to put the potato in!

He even fished out the bits of mushroom onto the bench to lick the tuna off and just left them there!

Frankie won't touch tinned meat of any kind... but she loves green olives from a local pizzaria.

Our RB cat Taffy had a refined palate similar to your cat. She refused to eat tuna unless it was mixed with Miracle Whip (and it had to be Miracle Whip, not mayonnaise). I suspect if she could have asked for tuna on rye with chips, coleslaw, and a half-sour pickle on the side, she would have.

Peekaboo also refuses Tuna unless it is mixed with mushrooms and Miracle Whip; and even then it is only for certain moods. He is, however, a mushroom lover, he would fight to the death for the last mushroom in a can.

Sterling would kill for tuna, but Punkin won't touch it. How do these tastes develop, anyway?
