I think I've read this being posted somewhere but just can't remember it. Anyway, I don't feed much dry, only when I have to be away from home for longer hours. One thing I do notice is that whenever my kitty eats more dry, her poop really does seems less smelly. She eats premium wet food and her poopy really smells (wet?, I have no words to describe it) and it takes longer for the consistency to turn stiffter.
Believe me, I do look and inspect her poop (I'm a poop detective or some sort .. lol). Her normal wet food poop is not watery but just seems more moist compared to when she eats more dry.
So, if smell being an issue, will you feed kitty more dry or the cons of dry outweighs the smell benefit?
I hope I am making some sense here but when it comes to talking about poop, I just don't quite know how to make it more pleasant.
