I've been visiting our local shelter. I actually volunteered there, but so far, they haven't needed me. However, the DO have some lovely cats!


Of the two in this video, the second one has been adopted, but the gorgeous orange one (an almost exact duplicate of Punkin) has not. He's been there long enough that he has started spraying; as such, he smells bad. He'll never get adopted like that.

I arranged with my vet and the shelter to have him neutered, at my expense. So he'll have his first round of shots and be neutered. I hope that gives him the boost he needs to find a great forever home.

That was a wonderful thing to do. I couldn't relate that generosity to the title of your thread though. Were you punished in some way for your generosity?
