The blurry edges could be caused by the background being out-of-focus, or by the camera moving slightly, even just a little bit...

The two things it looks like to me:
1st impression: Part of a cat's head, with it's mouth open "yawning".
2nd impression: After I looked at it a bit, a blurry, out of focus, table...like a folding table, where the legs form an "x" with stuff on the top and a white/lace tablecloth.

That's about as close as I could get to the same angle... the glare/brightness around the window is just from the sun.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
mystery solved... it's the pattern on the couch/chair in the living room. in the original image, it was blurred, as you were holding the camera funny... but that's all it is... the pattern matches... here's a cropped version... with my own circle around it.

We don't see the arm of the chair because the wall cuts it off in the original image... also your head and the dining chair cuts off the other side...

It is the couch - if you put the pictures side by side, you can really tell. Thank goodness, because that really scared me at first!!!

The thing that the blue light is reflecting from is the wooden chair there slightly off to the side in front of the couch. And if you look at the lightened picture, then you can actually see the fuzzy brown of the couch pattern as well.

Good job solving the mystery!

The weirdest thing I've ever gotten in a picture is a huge cloud of dust over a road. The dust wasn't there when I took the picture, I was looking through the viewscreen as I did. But later, it filled up the whole frame.

My mother has had dealings with ghosts, though. If I remember the story correctly, she used to own two dogs that she put in the basement every night in her old house. She chained them to something... a radiator, I think? but every morning, she would find them unhooked (no broken chains, they were actually unhooked) and whimpering at the top of the stairs.

WOW...I have chills, even still after the mystery was solved.

I live in a house that has some activity and have lived in other "haunted" houses. This stuff interests me.I have two pics...I should try and find them. There is a man's head in one and a dog head in the window of another...the window was 3 stories high and there were no ledges or anything...but it really looks like a dog head and is clear.

I took a picture once in a barrio near Monterrey (MX, not CA) of a completely deserted street and ended up with a pale white outline of a little boy in a baseball cap. The boy isn't in any other picture, there's no disturbances in the rest of the picture, it's flat-out in the middle, there was no flash, and I had a weird feeling while I was taking it.

Sadly it's film, not digital. I never doubted for a second what the boy was.

The best I can do is take a crappy picture of a picture with my webcam. You can still see it though. (The blurriness is from this, the actual picture is pretty good quality).
