An Engineer's Guide to Cats - Page 2

Try as I might, I just cannot get either of my girls to yodel.
I thought the whole thing was hilarious. It was obvious that they loved their kitties and very carefully did not hurt or even really anger them. I loved the dancing and yodeling in particular. Funny how something will come along and give you a smile when you most need one.

I emailed the link out to family and friends... including my aeronautical engineering uncle (who works for the FAA in DC and will probably forward the link to half the building haha)... I'm patiently waiting their responses to it hahah

Okay, that was hilarious! My fiance and I enjoyed that immensely!

Man that was good. I liked the part about corporal cuddling and the yodeling.

LOL, thanks for sharing...I have engineers in the family too, so I'll be showing them this!

That video is SO funny (although I'm biased with all cat videos ) I saw it on cuteoverload.com

So just curious. How many people attempted the "cat yodeling" after seeing that video?

I sent the link onto a number of friends, who forwarded it onto others. My friend's mother got her cat to yodel, after of course, applying the "corporal cuddling".

Mine wouldn't do it. They don't scream when you do corporal cuddling with them. I've used that tactic on them for too long.

(p.s. I'm a software engineer)

DH tried with Lucy. All he got was her yowling. She was not happy. The other two just stared at him.

Over here, we call it "firetruck-ing" cuz Ollie sounds like a firetruck siren (and my dad's a fireman, so it works lol)... his "trigger spot" is his tail bone - we call this the "finky bone" (DON'T ASK! haha it's something I came up with out of the blue when we got my dog 14 years ago! ) both the dog and cat like to be "finked" but if you like hold Ollie (corporal cuddle style) and fink him, he turns into a firetruck!

Oscar should meet Danielle's/huggles' Cedar! They could have a carton shredding contest.

Here's a great human interest story, that, IMHO, made the video even more entertaining:

My 12yo grandson and my 27yo daughter were just as entertained as I was -- fun for the whole family
