Anyone Cats get lumps from the Depo Medrol Shot?

Coco has a lump from the Depo Shot again. When she got one last year the same thing happened. The vet said it woul be gone withing a week and it too two months to go away. i hope it dosent take months to go away again.

Damita's had one Depo shot, Twitch had one years ago. Neither got a lump. I would talk to your vet to let them know last time it took 2 months to go away, so that they know.

Did you ask the vet if the shot is still safe even though she got a lump? What is the shot for?

I did talk to the Vet. They knew it took two Months to get rid of the lump last time. I told them it happened again. We are talking about getting a Inhaler for her Asthma instead of Shots. The Shot was for her Asthma. She got the Shot on March 12th. We were afraid it might cause her Bladder infection to come back. She did have a bad Cold too which she had Antibiotics for and its gone. Coco also can not have most Shots because she has bad reactions to them.

Poor Coco! I hope you are able to find something that works and does not give her reactions.
