I picked up Cleopatra (8 months old) this past Tuesday from the humane society, where she was spayed, giving the rabies shots and all that jazz. When I picked her out, I noticed that she had cut/scrape on her right cheek, which was from a fight she had before she was taken to the pound. She ended up scratching it raw and didn't let it heal, so the dr gave me medicine for that. So that clears up the background info. Now, as of thursday, she's been sneezing off and on. And right now, she sneezed about 3 times in the past hour. Should I be concerned? She eats very well, sleeps ALOT
and purrs loudly. Should I take her to the vet ASAP? or play it by ear?

Welcome to TCS!

URIs or Upper Respiratory Infections are common in shelter cats. If untreated, they can be serious. I suggest calling your vet & getting her in ASAP. She will likely need anti-biotics, but URIs are easier to treat if caught early.
