Hopefully you can see the colors on my garden shed.

The window trim is a creamy white, the siding is light green and trim is shade tone only darker. I have a couple of accent boards painted marroon.

Upon recommendations by the paint store I painted the bench a tan (the lady suggested stay in the jewel tone palette. Anyhow the bench needs to be repainted and I was going to paint maroon but I have an expensive birdhouse painted maroon that sits on the bench.

Also the metal roof is a charcoal grey and the "white" chair needs to be painted also.

So what would be a good color for the bench and chair?? I was thinking maybe a mustard/gold color?? Do they need to be the same color??

Thanks for suggestions!!

Howbout a nice medium-cool green? Like a slightly lighter version of the glass of a green wine bottle? It would provide contrast to the grey without fighting the maroon.

And sheesh... that's just a SHED? It's gorgeous! Can I come live in it?

I would do the metal chair and the bench in the same color as the trim color.

Thanks for the input!!

We built that about 5 years ago now and its too small for all my stuff!! Its two rooms with larger room is 8 x 8 and the smaller with the windows is 3 x 8. We must have done a good job and its pretty sturdy.

Even though its off the road 150 ft ft or so we have many Sunday type drivers slow down and gawk at it and once in a while people will stop in for a closer look!! Lots of people think its a playhouse!! (for me maybe). We built it using some recycled materials and a fair amount of swearing for about $2500. It would probably have cost 3x that amount if we had someone build for us. I have the plans as it was in the Family Handyman magazine. Installing the roof was a PITA though due to the steep pitch.
