Cat typhoid

Is there a kind of typhoid that looks like cat flu and then kitties die within 3 days ??
there are 3 already dead from the same stray group i feed

could i bring that virus to my indoor cats? does it transmit only with direct contact or also from my trousers where the strays rub themselves...

I AM DESPERATED !

it is definetely not poison.

i cant remember but someone had linked the threads recently; thats the only reason i knew anything about it. it was around may of 07
