Still good luck with everything!

Oh and with all five of my pregnancies - my biggest early symptom was tender breasts and EXTREME fatigue.

PS welcome to TCS!
I second that on the early symptoms. I also threw up in the morning before I even knew I had missed my period. I hope you are ok until Monday. I hate being stressed out over that...it makes it even worse, ya know?

Hi!!!

I would use First Response Early Result (FRER) at Walmart or Target. Dollar tree test is not reliable. I have been trying to conceive for 2 years and I've had my fair share with Dollar tree HPT (home pregnancy test).

You can test now as you are a week late.
Good luck.

It wasn't from dollar tree, but I assume they are all similar. I decided to use my 2nd dollar store test today to see if anything had changed. It came up negative again. Hours later I went back into the bathroom and looked at it just to see and it had a faint 2nd line. Of course, I was like hmmmm....?

I went to Walgreens and bought First Response early detection. I took it and waited and again...negative. I am now 11 days late don't really know what's going on since I am usually regular. Calling planned parenthood in the morning to see what they have to say about it.

I would go to the DR and get a blood test they dont cost too much with or without insurance.

Personally, I would head to the doctor... just because if you're not pregnant, then something is going on to disrupt your cycle - I'd rather get checked out and at least make sure nothing funky is going on, than wonder... that's just me though, I'm so impatient too, so even if I was thinking pregnancy, I'd want to know ASAP! haha... Whatever's going on with you, I hope you're healthy and happy with the outcome... keep us posted

My sister just called plan Parenthood and they said come in only if she thinks she is Preg. They can do a Blood Test to see. She has no Medical and is asking me what to do. Even the Good Test was Neg last night. There has to be a Dr she could go to somewhere.

Honestly, if she thinks she may be pregnant, Planned Parenthood is a good place to go. They can do the exam and testing. And if they're anything like the one I went to years ago, they can help with pre-natal planning. They're also affordable, which isn't always the case for the uninsured at regular doctors offices. Honestly, I vote for PP. They're a good place to go in cases like this.

Good luck!

A.

She just called Planned Parenthood back, They said to Walk In. They will not do the Blood Test until the Urine Test is done. My other Sister used them when she was Preg with my Nephews.

Yeah, they want me to come in for a urine test and then possibly a blood test to check my hormone levels. I guess I better head out that way. They said they will charge me $15 for the urine test which is what I paid for the first response last night. I do have a card from them because I am uninsured and not working at the time. I got all my pills free from them. I'll let you know what happens when I return.

Well I went in and all they did was conduct another urine test, which came out neg like the others. They told me a bunch of stuff that I already knew and just sent me on my way. It was a total waste of time. They basically said just wait for my period to come this month and if it doesn't, then come back. They wouldn't do a blood test even though I was told they would on the phone. They said that is only if the clinic requests to do so. I guess now I just wait 2 more weeks for my period. *Sigh*

Have you taken all these tests in the morning? I've heard it's best to wait until your first urination when you wake up because there will be more of the detectable hormone in your urine.

Hmmm that's a strange outcome... if you don't get your period for a whole month and are still testing negative, I would look for a free or low-cost clinic in your area (like for low income/no insurance people and families) and have them check you out... it just wouldn't seem right for you to miss a whole cycle yet not be pregnant... that's what I would do if it were me anyway - heck I freak if I'm 2 days late!

One time, I missed three cycles.
The doctor told me that it was probably due to stress.
I don't know if it might be stress for you, since you are/were on birth control (I was not on birth control when this happened)?

Yeah, we will see in a few weeks when my period "should" be coming. Otherwise it's back out to see what's the dealio! I don't think it would be stress because I am not under and more stress than I have had at any other given time. Thanks everyone for all the advice though. I really appreciate it!
