I have been wanting a dog for awhile, but Dh and I agreed that we'd wait until this summer. However, when I saw an ad for my new baby we decided to go for it! Here she is with two of my kids:

Her name is Bea. She is a 5yo (almost 6) English Bulldog. She has had a few puppies in her day, but today she got spayed! (She's having a rough time of it, poor thing. She's vomited 4 times now since we got home from the vet.) We are working on some house manners, and she hasn't had any obedience training, but she is a very sweet girl and I love her to bits. I can't say the kitties are thrilled about Bea joining our family
but everyone's getting along okay.

She is an English Bulldog, although I understand how you might need clarification.
She actually weighs only 53lbs. My vet says she is at perfect body weight, and that she is one of the smallest adult bulldogs he sees at his clinic. She is quite a wide chunk of muscle, though!

Good one. She is huge but so glad she has a good home and now is spayed. Poor thing having a hard time with recouping.

Thanks for your responses and vibes. Bea seems to be feeling better today. She continued to vomit throughout the night, but she's been up and around today, and she ate a little bit and kept it down. I'm so glad she's feeling better! It's hard to see them feeling so sick.

Congratulations on your new addition. What a big, muscly love -she sure is beautiful! I love her pink chain collar, by the way.
