I just checked again and little Peanut I think has just a tiny corner of one eye open.

I strongly suspect those kittens are older then normal. Do you remember which ones were born first and last? The last kittens may be 2-3 days older in conception if she was being bred over a few days by the same male.

The biggest three were born first and the smallest 2 were born last. They are all huge not just these two though. Yesterday they were all 4.3 ounces-5 ounces. Also i'm pretty sure that Olive was bred on February 1st. If she was bred before that it was from my mom accidently letting her out and not telling me.

They were one of the first three born. The one I talked about in my second post that is just starting to open her eyes was born last.

This is really weird Lindsey - normal kittens don't open eyes till they are 4-5 days old at the earliest. I'd contact your vet and ask them if there might be any concerns with them opening in a day or two after being born!

I will contact my vet tomorrow and see what she says. They seem very healthy though otherwise.

Unless the "older" kittens (conceived first) are implanted in the lower part and the younger ones (last conceived) are in the upper part of the uterus. Be interesting to find out

The last two could have been "made" I guess 2 days after the others since Olive was gone for 2 days. The whole thing is really strange though. lol I haven't even heard of a kitten born late opening it's eyes at 24 hours old. These little ones are huge now I know why poor Olive screamed during labor. Sophie's babies were smaller than even the smallest one in this litter. My grandmother who has ferals/semi ferals and has raised many litters was shocked as well.
