So this past Saturday Levi got his 3rd notch in his ear. I didn't notice right away, but Isaac bit Levi's ear. I know it was him because I heard the little tiff. MY poor baby now has 2 notches out of one ear & now one out of the other ear. I wish I knew how to stop this from happening again. Levi is the bottom rung kitty and Isaac is second in charge. I'm preety sure what happens is that Isaac tries to mount Levi to show him who is in charge and Levi tries to get away. Sometimes Isaac tries to grab his ear, and as Levi pulls away his ear rips. Is there anyway to help stop this?

Since the cat can't really lick its own ears, try a small dab of Bitter Apple spray on the ears and that should stop the other from nipping pieces out of the ear. Do NOT spray the ear, but spray on a cotton ball and wipe it on the ears.

Or your cat might have been a tattoo artist in another life!
