Some cats like to eat plastic bags and some kinds of paper.
My cat Dexter is one of them.
Plastic grocery bags must remain invisible in our home.
It is critical that you keep all possible temptation out of your cats reach.
It can make them very ill.

This might not be easy but over time you will adjust to putting those things away.

It can save your cat's life.

As you know it's important not to let your kitty eat or chew on something that may hurt them. My cat Forrest likes to chew on many things he should not, including plastic items, but when he goes after something he shouldn't I redirect his interest onto another plastic item.

He really loves these plastic rings that you can get at Petco:

Also, he loves plastic straws to chew on. He carries them around the house and will spend hours playing with them. When they start to get ragged I give him a new straw.

Try diverting your kitty's attention to a less hazardous plaything. Both of you will be happy.
