Cat extremely bite-y after getting snipped?

My kitty was spayed about 2 days ago and ever since seems to be acting alot more aggresive than usual (mind you she's usually a bit of an aggresive/bite-y cat) and has been biting the crap out of my boyfriend and I all the time.

Has anyone else experienced wierd behaviour after getting their kitty snipped?

I'm wondering if maybe it's just the result of being a bit restless and going outside less?

My kitten was more bite-y after his neuter on Tuesday, and yesterday as well. I think it's because he is sore... Today he is a lot better, so I'd say that is most likely the reason. If you cat is hurting she may be biting out of pain.

I'm glad to read you got her spayed. It's stressful for cats and for the girls - it has to hurt. She's dealing with it the only way a cat can, getting a bit defensive. Keep and eye on her belly, I hope she heals up soon and gets to feeling better - and calms down.
