You guys won't believe what Freud said popping pimples is symbolic of.

When i was 16, i was to Europe for three months, and devoured a lot of chocolates there (especially Belgium.)

i returned to develop a severe a skin problem (zits breakout like wild fire), and it lasted one year!!

i had to seek help from a professional dermatologist, and hid at home at most times. He advised me NOT to pop zits, and wash my face three times a day with lowila soap (or something gentle) and take certain medication.

You can imagine how insecure i felt! Not easy being a teenager with a skin problem, i tell you! Till now, i still have a complex when comes to appearances.

I've lived my life never listening to a thing Freud says, and I'm going to stick with that principle. Especially after this 'symbolic' zit popping discussion!

I agree...Freud was one sick puppy! I get lots of laughs whenever I present his wacky theories in class.
