Is it the case that feeding the cat diet consisting of great portion of meat leads to stronger litter odor?

In my experience, raw meat diet is less smelly than giving cooked meat. I do not think the amount makes any difference.

RAW has LITTLE to NO odur

Cooked has less that canned food since most of us DO NOT cook at the HIGH temps canned is done at

DRY is like cooked but only cause agent / ingrediants are added to control odur

If you just started canned likely your feeding a slightly rich can which can = BIG but TEMP odur

It depends on what kind of meat is being fed too. For example, I can't feed Tomas many of the Nutro cans because it seems like all but one or two flavors have beef in them - for some reason beef makes him gasy.

Meat byproducts instead of a listed particular meat, like chicken, could potentially do that too.

When I fed my cats Chicken Soup wet food for awhile, their poop was noticeably stinkier. My guess is that it's just so rich that it does that.

I've noticed certain brands seem to be more likely to cause odor... In some cases it could also be the food is too rich.
One of the kittens in the house is eating Orijen (grain-free) and I haven't noticed any great litterbox odor. When I had my foster feral I was giving him Instinct and his litterbox was odor-free! However when we tried EVO there was a strong odor. My sister's cat is on EVO and she stinks up the whole apartment when she uses the litterbox! :p
