Oh my gosh, I'm in tears laughing thanks to Oliver!

This is one of those "wish I had it on video" things, but I'll try to explain well enough to give you a good "mental video"

So I'm sitting in my bed with the laptop, lights on, legs stretched out under the blankets, computer on lap... Oliver had jumped up on the bed to see what I was up to and possibly to give me a "hey mama, I'm ready for bed" look... so he goes down near the foot of the bed, he's sitting in the center of the bed looking at me, back facing the edge of the bed, butt close to the edge... he leans down to sniff my toes under the blankets (he often likes to attack the "blankie monsters") so I wiggled a toe to start the game, but it scared him! He jumped STRAIGHT in the air as his tail poofed fully and on the way back down, instead of landing back on the bed, he just disappeared in front of the bed and into his snuggle ball on the floor... it was so like cartoon, movie set!! I immediately started hysterically laughing/crying at the same time and tumbled out of the bed to go give him a hug! He just had this ":censor::censor::censor:?!" look on his face hahaha, I'm still laughing!! I soooo wish I had been taping!

My dog got on Funniest Videos a few years ago cuz we happened to be messing with the then new video cam down the shore and caught it as a tiny, clawless atlantic blue crab chased my pup, butt first off the dock into the canal - paws flew up, ears flew up, *splash!* and then she's seen swimming down the canal... didn't win any money, but we did only grant them a year of rights... this would have rivaled that video!

Well, video or not, I laughed at your description!!!

I guess there's a reason why cartoons depict cats doing stuff like this - they've obviously had cats!!

That's exactly what it's like!!!

I'm seriously waiting for one time when he jumps straight up and is then attached upside down to the ceiling like a Garfield strip haha

That reminds me of the time I was sitting quietly watching Arwen 'prey' on a plastic carrier bag....I very slowly moved towards the bag and rustled it slightly...making Arwen jump!

And she looked as though she had been put in a toaster, and just popped out!
