actually i already mentioned Qantas [which doesn't have a u, as it's an acronym for Queensland and Northern Territories Air Service - it's strange how much i still recall from my travel agent days!]

Oops. Actually I sorta knew that about Qantas, I just couldn't bring myself to spell it without the u!

Well, I don't live there...but the first thing that pops into my mind when I hear Australia is 'Brumbies" and the movie "the Man From Snowy River".

that i met on th web, and he has showed me some great pics of the land down under !
i think i could fall in love
too bad im on the north coast of america and hes on the gold coast of australia !

I guess I kind of think of Emu's too, I think they're from Aussie but Im not sure really! I think of kanagroo pouches... Beautiful scenery! Nice land!
I would think others would associate australia with zoo's with koala bears, greens grasses, lots of boating, lovely accents, no winter, no snow, sharks, shark attacks, dolphins, (I think they're there!) Warm waters! That kind of stuff!
