April fools joke...is this bad or what??

Ok, here's some background info. A girl I work with had a child with her ex-boyfriend 2-3 years ago. After she had the baby she cut him out of their lives...until she recently found out about his new VERY good paying job, and now they are back together and are engaged.

Today, she told him she was pregnant again. He was SO excited!! He called his parents, he called his boss, he called his best friend to share the news. She let him believe that for 2 hours before she told him "April Fools".

Now, she's upset because he won't talk to her when she calls him. Gee...I wonder why???

For the record, she answers to the name of "gold digger" and laughs about it, and passes around wedding catalogs to have people chose their favorite bridesmaid dress, even though they haven't set the date.

Honestly, I've never liked this girl. But, is that a cruel April Fool's joke or is it just me?? I could see letting your boyfriend sweat it out for a few seconds says you were pregnant when he didn't want a child....but to let him call his best friend, his PARENTS to share the good news and then drop the bomb??? No wonder he isnt' talking to her!!

Yes, I have other issues with her, but this just really ticked me off.....:fume:

Oh, she's just a player, and she it the type of woman that gives women a bad name. I just feel so bad for her boyfriend because he honestly thinks she loves him. All she wants is his money. All he wants is a family. It is so sad.

I always tell my kids that a "joke" is something that makes people laugh.

That was just cruel.
