I Thought I'd Escaped...

Well, I made it through the winter season without a single cold, and only a 24-hour stomach bug that was going around... and a minor case of it, too, which wasn't too miserable.

I thought I was home free!

Until last night, when my head felt like it was going to explode with congestion and my throat was sore with post-nasal drip and my body felt like it'd been hit by a truck.

And here I am, sitting at work anyway. Bought me some vitamin C drops, Zicam, and day-time/night-time cold meds to try and knock it out before my trip to the Bronx Zoo Sunday.

Ugh.

These change-of-the-season colds are the worst.

Who's suffering with me?

Yeah, I'm with you.... I am fighting off the respiratory infection from H*ll. Started as a dry cough... it is in my lungs, throat, nose and ears. And a bit of a stomach ache too for a couple of days. Knock on wood - at least I didn't lose my voice.

I haven't been sick with a cold yet this year!!! I haven't had the flu in 15 years.... I hope I don't catch what you have
