Harry went out for a couple of hours yesterday evening as he always does, to go to the bathroom and stuff. He came in last night, ate a big dinner and then curled up to sleep at the foot of the bed. I couldn't understand why he wasn't on top of me during the night as he normally is.

He got up at 4am and used the litter tray. I went to see if he was okay. When I lifted him he yowled as if he was in pain. This morning he is staying in the one spot on the bed. I left his litter tray and water nearby. He isn't limping and he's able to jump up and down off the bed but he hisses if I touch anywhere near his back paws or tummy. I'm taking him to the vet as soon as I can get out of work but I'm so worried; I was wondering if anyone has any idea what it might be in the meantime?

Thanks

He's just turning 1 this month. He is due his vaccinations and I tried to worm him yesterday but the tablet fell down the sink
. I'm going to get the vet to do all that today as well.

I don't know what it could be. The vet will sort it out.
Be careful with his vaccinations though. Let him get over whatever is wrong with him 1st. When Blossom had her 1st yr booster she was sick a several days b4 & on anti-biotics. She seemed well again for a couple of days b4 her vac but she had a bad reaction & had to have an anti-inflamitory & spend the night in hospital. She was alergic to the feline leukemia part of the vac & is never to have it again.

Good advice. Make sure Harry has a clean bill of health before doing any shots or worming (which is a very strong med).
