Mango is my first ever cat and up until now, I haven't had to deal with hairball issues, so I'm quite clueless.
Occasionally after he eats (more and more often now), he will make a hacking sound. I am sure it's a hairball and just minutes earlier, he kept hacking non-stop, but nothing came out.
Is there ANYTHING I can do for him at this point to help him? He has stopped hacking for the time-being. Is it better to wait for him to throw this one up first and then take preventative measures afterwards or start giving him some canned pumpkin meanwhile?
Thanks!
