Guess Lucy's breeds

I know her mix since she was an accidental litter and when the owner brought them to the shelter she told the mix. Mom was a mix of two breeds and dad was a mix between two breeds. I bet you will never guess.

Border collie, Golden, some kind of hound ? not sure what else - how many did I guess?

Rottie and St. Bernard and... well geez, i dont know.. im curious though =)

She is some kind of hound! The other two are wrong but close. She does have some sort of herding breed in her and a retriever breed. Oh and she is 45 pounds.
Maybe this picture will help with what else she has.

Which one of us are you referring to as having it right or wrong?

And if its not Border - is it Sheltie?

You were right about the hound part. She does have hound in her. Her mom was half hound. You might never guess what type of hound though. lol No sheltie. And tater you got the Chow part right but not the rottie part. Hint-she got her coloring from the herding part of her.

could there be either australian kelpie or australian cattle dog?

I have to agree with Sandtigress. That pic sort of reminds me of my baby girl.

my first thought was she had border collie, but then shepard too but neither of these two are in it....
so that reminded me of the australian sheperd

look at the muzzle and shape of the face....
then the colour red and black are a common trait in them
if not it was good guess anyway lol

Yep she has australian shepherd in her! Her dad was an aussie shepherd x chow. Those are the two you have right so far. Her mom's mix though is the hard one to guess. She was part hound and you might never guess what type. Not a coonhound. Well think of the most unlikely hound you can think of and that is what it is lol.

Yep it's lab. Mom was a Lab x basset hound and dad was a chow x australian shepherd. Very strange mix.
