Oh, darlin... the only thing I know to say that might possibly is help is this: think of happy times with your mom, keep those memories present with you every day, and let yourself smile when you recall them. They can help you begin to heal.
No words can express how sorry I am. It's never easy when you loose someone you love, even when you expect it. Just know, she is in a better place with no more suffereing. Remember the good things and I am sure you made her life so special. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May your mother rest in peace.
Condolences on losing your mother! You are right that she is in a better place, with her son. I pray that you receive a sign that she's okay now - my family has been blessed with rainbows in that regard. During my nephew's graveside services, a large cirrus cloud formed and it had a sundog (or parhelion - a cloud rainbow) that lasted all afternoon. Several days after my brother was laid to rest, my daughter & I prayed for a sign as we were driving her to school, and the sun warmed up the snow surface so that the moisture rose until it hit cold air and formed flakes and snowed, and in a perfectly clear sky, there was a full, brilliant rainbow. the night of my best friend's father's funeral, there was a terrific thunder & lightning storm (his dad loved T-storms as much as we do) and in the morning, there was the most spectacular sunrise!
Sherral, I'm so sorry for you loss and I'm sending you and your family lots of vibes and prayers for strength to help you get through this very difficult time.
OMG! my heart is breaking for you!!! I am so sorry! please take care of yourself, this is truly pain, real pain! I wish I could make it better for you!
You will be in my prayers!
Monique
Sherral, I am so sorry. I lost my mom in October - you lost your mom on my mom's birthday - my first without her. I will definitely keep you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers. You can PM me if you need to talk.
