ACK! Now Earl's feeling sick and isn't sure he really wants to go. OK, he got the tickets and...yeah, they're bad.
They are almost behind the stage in nosebleed section. But still....

Earl took some meds and hopefully I can still talk him into going. I don't even care if we see Bon Jovi, but I want to see Daughtry!! Can y'all spare any vibes that he's feeling better in the next couple hours???

Sending :vbies:, Heidi. Not my kind of concert, but I do know excitement and anticipation when I see it, and hope you get to go -- and have a great time.

Oh sending all my vibes... I've been thinking of you and wishing I was there! LOL

Shame on you for not caring about Bon Jovi, but I forgive you

I love Chris.

OK, seriously now.... They started off with a new song that was really good. Only played for 45 minutes, though.
But those 45 minutes were really great! They worked Walk the Line, Home Sweet Home and Hey Man, Nice Shot into their songs. Very nicely done. And while they did have screens with video camera images from the show up so us poor saps in the back could actually see...I also had a really good view of Chris from the rear.

Bon Jovi were tight. The crowd was really into it. We didn't end up staying for the whole show because the up in the rafter seats are really hard on a person's back, and Earl was really hurting.

But I also realized/remembered something tonight. I don't really like Bon Jovi.
(Sorry!) When 7800 F came out, I was into Motley Crue and Twisted Sister. When Slippery When Wet came out, I was into Metallica and Megadeth and less than a year later, Guns N Roses. Bon Jovi is just too smiley for me.

That's awesome, I'm glad you had fun! Where was the concert? I like the way John Bon Jovi LOOKS, but I've never been into his music. I must've been in some different phase then...I don't even recognize the song names. What year(s) would you say that was?

I hope Earl is feeling better, and I'm glad you had a good time. But, yeah, if you were into Metallica and Megadeth yeah...Bon Jovi probably wasn't your thing. I love some songs by them, but I was more into glam-rock (Bon Jovi, Poison, Ratt...etc). I love Motley Crew and would LOVE to see them!

Oh you're breaking my heart!
It's JON Bon Jovi (no "H") and I think Bon Jovi soared the highest with their release of Slippery When Wet in the mid 80's (1986, I just looked it up) followed by New Jersey right before I graduated in '88!

Oh I love BJB! I even married myself a Jon

PS Glad you had fun at the concert, even if you were a little soar... my last Bon Jovi concert - his Have a Nice Day tour - in Pittsburgh, I had really sucky seats... but didnt stop me from screaming my voice away!

LOL, I'm not trying to say I was too young!!

I was a music major. I think I was into Beethoven big time in the 80s. When you play an instrument 5 hours a day you don't have a lot of time for other music! (mea culpa on the John vs. Jon. I may have been pui-ing a bit!

Metallica was the best concert I ever went to! Wayyyyy back before they turned pop, of course. I don't listen to them now.

I always liked Bon Jovi too though, and would love to have seen him AND Daughtry! Glad you had a good time!
