Tropical Beachy Pet Names:
- Papaya
- Mango (love this for a cat)
- Marina (she looks like a Marina to me!)
I love Mango for an red cat. Papaya is real cute too, Keilani is beautiful, but Marina is one of my faves - lol - so close to my name, Marian... and its right on with the real-name-like criteria.

Of course... I still like Abbie and Aussie

I really like Maggie, that's a sweet name - I think she looks like a Maggie.

Lilo is very cute as well!

That's funny because I had been thinking about Tula and didn't even know it was related to aby's!

Here are a couple more from today. She was falling asleep in my lap so I couldn't resist a couple of pics.

Beautiful baby

-Tiki - as in the torch I think she very much looks like a Tiki!
I see this as a good name too. I have found my kitties name themselves - some how or another within a week - ten days a name has attached itself firmly to all new additions -

In all honesty my cats do not have normal names

My black baby shown above - his name is Fussy-Butt - when we brought him home he was apart from Mommy for the first time in his life and he fussed for three days. . . one of my others name is Mee-Too. The kitty in my avatar is Ferocious and the baby in my signature her name was Brat , then there is Mr. Mischief . . . so my taste is names may be a little off!

all of mine have their names, & those are 'official', on vet records, etc. & most of them are called those on a regular basis - except for my Firefox, who somehow ended up being called 'Puter Bug... she thinks this is her real name, & who am i to argue?

I LOVE Emma too but I'm starting to think that if I ever have a little girl I might want to name her that. I don't want to name my animals anything I might name my children b/c then I wouldn't want to name them that.

So I started calling her Maggie last night to see how it fit and all three times she came running from across the house. Of course I could have probably been calling her anything and she'd come running, but still. I'm going to give it a couple of weeks before I finally decide. I like to let them name themselves if possible.

Kitten_Smitten - I love all of your kitties names. While I prefer more traditional names for my animals, I always have several nicknames like the ones you use. I call my cat Aussie "Mooney", "Tubby", "Buby" etc. most of the time. I only ever use her real name when I'm trying to get her attention.

Nope, actually she's a ruddy. She's just got a lot of red coloring in her from her ruddy father. Apparently he's a celebrity because he had so much color to him. Even Abymummy had heard of him.

Still no name! It's driving me nuts. I'm calling her anything that comes to mind but nothing stands out. I can't figure out why this one is so difficult!
I'll let everyone know as soon as I pick one. Of course with all of this suspense in naming her I'm going to be afraid to post it in case everyone hates it!

Her tickings coming in...another few months and she may just be a show cat!

Anyhow, here's my suggestion for a name:

Cantik (Chan - tek) - means pretty
Cinta (Chin-taa) - means love

Pantai ( Phan-tie) - means beach

Obviously, all words are in Malay. All my Abys have Malay names as their CFA reg names
