cat tear

My cat has tear coming down his left eye but not his right eye. Is that a concern?

Not a concern unless it is ongoing, green and thick or there is any redness or swelling in or around the eye. I think ongoing is the key word. There could be a green goober one day and that is no concern. The eye could get dust or some irritant in it and look red and puffy one day, but if these things continue then you need to have the cat seen by a vet.
