I'd love to do that but DH is currently on the X box and that would never fly with him.

Ok, I felt guilty
So I'm sitting here in the dark. But I've only turned out the lights. I'm watching TV and on my computer and didn't unplug anything.

I turned out the lights & promptly stepped on the only dark colored cat in the basement, sorry Punky!

Hmmm...we went out to dinner, so the majority of the lights were off minus 2. However the TV and computers were off so that will make up for those 2 lights.

I dunno...this Earth Day is seeming more like the No-Gas Day...we turned off the lights, but computers draw more energy than a light bulb.
I thought it was suppose to be bigger and badder than turning off the lights.

I was at work so my lights were off at home. My work was supposed to do it but they didn't. We had signs up saying that we were shutting off most of the lights and the store signs and stuff but they left them all on. I asked my manager about it and she said she couldn't turn them off.

On the west side of... of... somewhere.
i just did mine... since I don't typically light my apartment up too much, I went a half step further by keeping/turning things off. I didn't watch TV, I turned the computer off, and I made a point to use my candles and just have some quiet time... it was a nice hour, really. I didn't unplug things, though... with this apartment, I'd be spending the next hour plugging them all back in!!

i already bought those engery saver light bulbs for my house. my mom did this and it actually reduced her electric bill by 25 dollars. mine went down by 14 dollars. the only downfall i see in them is they are a little dimmer then standard bulbs but i am used to it. plus they have like a year warrentee. but i will try to do the lights out thing if i remember, lol
