Organic Deboned Chicken mostly water so the protein bulk is NOT organic after cooking, Chicken MealPER AFFCO this cannot be ORGANIC, Organic Brown Rice, Organic Oatmeal, Organic Ground BarleyMAIN reason to this pt I use Natural vs organic... organics are way TOO GRAINY, Salmon Meal (source of Natural Omega 3 Fatty Acids), Organic Dried Egg, Organic Canola Oil, Organic Ground Milletyet another grain, Potatoes, Natural Chicken Flavor, Organic Peas, Organic Cranberries, Chicken Fat (preserved with Natural Mixed Tocopherols), CaramelCAN contain wheat , msg and other things , Potassium Chloride, Organic Sunflower Oil (source of Natural Omega 6 Fatty Acids), Choline Chloride, Taurine, Salt, Organic Kelp Meal, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Dicalcium Phosphate, Alfalfa Meal, Natural Mixed Tocopherols, Turmeric, Organic Parsley, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Folic Acid, Biotin, Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5), Zinc Amino Acid Complex (source of Chelated Zinc), Iron Amino Acid Complex (source of Chelated Iron), Copper Amino Acid Complex (source of Chelated Copper), Manganese Amino Acid Complex (source of Chelated Manganese), Cobalt Amino Acid Complex (source of Chelated Cobalt), Sodium Selenite, Calcium Iodate, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Aspergillus Niger, Enterococcus faecum, Trichoderma longbrachiatum, Bacillus subtilus.

Crude Protein 30.0% min
this is the % of MOST SENIOR cat foods
Crude Fat 16.0% min
Crude Fiber 4.0% max
Moisture 10.0% max
Ash 7.0% max
Omega 3 Fatty Acids* 0.37% min
Omega 6 Fatty Acids* 1.44% min
omega 6 is about what MOST grocery brands are ....

While a good formula IMHO not worth the $$ at this pt

Is there a reason you are drawn to organic? I wonder if By Nature Organics might be a better food? I've heard great things about Newman's Own Organic Pet Food if you have it available where you live.

Ingredients for By Nature Adult Cat Dry:
Chicken Meal, Ground Barley, Chicken Fat (Stabilized with Mixed Tocopherols), Ground Oats, Chicken, Chicken Livers, Ground Brown Rice, Flaxseed Meal, Tomato Pomace, Natural Flavors, Alfalfa Meal, Fish Meal, Fish Oil (Natural Source of DHA), Yeast Culture, Salt, Taurine, Vitamin E Supplement, Choline Chloride, Zinc Sulfate, Zinc Proteinate, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Blueberries, Cranberries, Dried Chicory Root, Raspberries, Turmeric, Niacin Supplement, Ferrous Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, d–Calcium Pantothenate, Manganese Proteinate, Copper Proteinate, Thiamine Mononitrate, Copper Sulfate, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Calcium Iodate, Folic Acid, Biotin, Sodium Selenite, Rosemary Extract, Dried Yeast Fermentation Solubles.

Ingredients for Newman's Own Adult Dry:
Organic Chicken, Chicken Meal, Organic Soybean Meal, Fish Meal, Organic Sorghum, Organic Peas, Organic Brown Rice, Organic Millet, Organic Rice, Organic Canola Oil, Chicken Fat (Stabilized with Mixed Tocopherols [a Source of Vitamin E]), Organic Oats, Organic Barley, Chicken Liver, Organic Flax Seed, Organic Carrots, Cranberries, DL-Methionine, Potassium Chloride, Sea Salt, Dicalcium Phosphate, Taurine, Parsley, Choline Chloride, Zinc Amino Acid Complex (Source of Chelated Zinc), Iron Amino Acid

Both those seem pretty grainy also, so I don't know really which would be best (of the 3).

I listen to some of the pet shows on the Martha Stewart channel on SIRIUS and one is sponsored by Blue Buffalo spa so I've noticed a lot of people calling in and saying that's what they feed their pets. I don't know about the dog formulas, but the cat formulas seem pretty grainy. Definitely not the worst food out there, but for the $ you could find something better I bet.
