Our family goes to a Catholic Church and the attire is very casual. Although we do dress up on occasions. And of course some people are more old-fashioned or formal. I guess it depends.
Yes, church isn't as stuffy as it once was. At least the Pentecostal ones that I've been to. I somehow think that if it's a Catholic or Anglican church that the whole experience from the service to the dress code, is more "formal", and that "Midnight Masses" would also be more "formal."Originally Posted by Jen

That's how the one in Maui was. We walked in an were immediately greeted by a lot of people - even the pastor. What impressed us was the pastor knew almost everyone there and if they had a birthday that week or month and mentioned who had themOriginally Posted by esrgirl

And the second one was all contemporary Christian pop music and upbeat and stuff like that. For churches it was a pretty good one, very open and accepting which was cool.

But I suggest you also look for one that teaches the Bible - and not just want they think people want to hear - that's very important.
you'd probably prefer a contemporary service... check w/him & see what he would like.Originally Posted by Trouts mom
