Well it finally happened

TCS offically and permanently seeped into my brain. I was just on the phone with my mom and when I hung up I figured DH would ask who it was. I thought to myself, I'll say it was my meowmy. None of that got spoken aloud though because DH never asked who called.

Gary used to feel so silly talking to the cats in the baby voice he uses with them - and we work from home a lot - and now he finds himself talking to the cats all the time, even when he's on a work call and forgets he's supposed to remain all professional.

Your DH probably would have looked at you like you were crazy!

I could just imagine what the other person on the line would think if they caught him talking to the cats.

I know what you mean! I catch myself saying "well this one lady.....on TheCatSite....."

Im guilty as well!! TCS has seeped into my brain! I talk about whats happening with everything on here!!

How many times in real life have you referred to your husband as your "DH"

or said "LOL" after saying something?

Besides the fact that everyone I know IRL knows about this place, if I happen to be talking to someone who doesn't I'll just say, "My friend in Toronto" or "A lady I know..." It's not lying, I do know y'all and consider a really good portion of you "friends" (and most of the rest I just don't know that well yet ), but it sure does avoid the crazy computer cat lady looks.

I think I tell my boyfriend at least once a day something that someone has said on here. I have said it to people at work too without even realizing it.
