Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I live in the U.S., and I've got a long list for two reasons: My grandparents took me on a cruise to Scandinavia and Russia, and I traveled a lot in college.

I've been to:

Canada
England
Denmark
Sweden
Norway
Russia (the U.S.S.R. at the time)
Finland
Germany
Belgium
France
Turkey
What was Czechoslovakia (Prague, so now the Czech Republic)
Costa Rica
Nicaragua
Peru
Bolivia
India
Pakistan
Nepal

The last time I left the country was 1991 (?) and that was the trip to Germany.

The longest I was anywhere but the U.S. was India, and that was for 9 months.

How about you?

Laurie

North America is huge in comparison to Europe. France is only half the size of Texas, and a quarter the size of Alaska. I live in southwestern Germany, and several foreign countries are just a 3 or 4-hour drive away. I used to drive that long to reach NYC or Washington, D.C. from Philadelphia.

It's not at all surprising that many Canadians or U.S. citizens haven't been outside their countries, or their immediate neighboring countries, because of the distances involved.

Yes, indeed! Some well-travelled people here!

I live in NYC

I've been to:
Mexico
The Bahamas
England
Ireland
Scotland (4 years in a row, acting at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - so much fun!)

I love the UK. I've always felt I could live there and feel at home very easily. If I'm going to do any foreign travel, I just go back to the UK.
