Hi!!
I'm a newie here. I've always have been just a canine lover. I show and compete in hunt tests with my Labs. I just purchased an Exotic Shorthair kitten!! I am soooo excited. I have been reading so much about kitties and differant breeds. I am getting the kitten from a breeder. I hope to get some help here on raising my new kitten. He is a blue and white male. I will be able to pick him up around the first or second week in April. Cool
I can hardly wait!!

Hi lauren - welcome!

It's great that you're reading up on kitty care before you bring your baby home. We have a lot of knowledgeable members that will be able to answer most any question you have... I must warn you though... this place can get addicting!

Oh! And we LOVE kitty pictures! *hint hint* :tounge2:

Welcome to the site Lauren! Congratulations on becoming a new kitty Mommy. You'll find tons of information here to help you be the best kitty mommy you can be. Sounds like you're already a very good doggie mommy!

Definitely ask any and all questions you have before and after you bring your little furry bundle of havoc, um, I mean JOY! home. We'll be happy to answer all of them. We all started somewhere with kitties, so never feel like any question is too elementary. And browse through the forums too. You may stumble upon questions you never even dreamed of. Especially for a new kitten, I would suggest looking into the Behavior and Care & Grooming sections, and be sure to use our Search function (button at the top of the forums) too.
