My son came and got me and said Bella pee'd all over his bed-lol. I came down and sure enough her stomache is contracting and she is trying to push. She is not in her birthing box.....is it ok to move her now? My son had her out tonight and was petting her for 3 hours and she got up and laid on his bed and sure enough her water broke..... I have never been through this I am so nervous. Any advice or suggestions?

back home in VA!
have clean hands and a few clean wash clothes ready in case you need to help stimulate the kittens to breathe or help clean them...If you have to pick them up to help them breathe hold them in a head down position.
This article was full of helpful information for me...Its not too long and you can skim it so you can pay as much attention to your precious Bella as you need!

Sending calming for you and both calming and safe delivery for Bella!

The third kitten is here. They all seemed to be doing great. Bella is nursing in between births. It looks like there is still another one in there. I will post again later.

Well...Bella had 3 kittens. It looks as though she is done. Her stomach is soft and squishy now and she is resting comfortably. The kittens are healthy and nursing. I don't know the sexes...but one looks like a tabby, one is black and white and one looks solid black. I will take pictures and post tomorrow. She ended up having them on my sons bed. When can I move them to the box I made for her? Or should I just leave them there for now. I don't want to upset her.

They must be soooo cute! I agree she can be moved, I moved my cat and family into a towel-lined box when she had em in a stairwell.

Bella finally came down off the the bed to eat and I moved the kittens into the box. I originally had everthing set up in the laundry room but since she chose my son's room...I moved everything into there. She seems very content now. It is so amazing how good of a mommy she is. I am so happy. The kittens are doing well and all seemed to be nursing great. One kitten is definately a tabby like bella, the other is black with a white chest and paws and the other is white and black. Not sure of the sexes....I don't really know how to check. The deliver went very smoothly. The black was born at 10:35pm, the white & black born at 11:15 and then the little tabby (my favorite) was born at 11:35pm. She ended up eating 2 of the placentas and I flushed the third down the toilet. Can anyone explain how to check to see if they are boys or girls?
