I am a first time mommy to kittens so I am very nervous, anxious and paranoid to say the least. Bella was at the vet 5 1/2 weeks ago and an ultrasound was done and she said about 4 weeks. Still no kittens. Bella looks like she has swallowed a mellon. I have been able to see the kittens moving now for 2 weeks. It seems as though her appetite may have decreased and she is sleeping alot. She waddles about like a little duck. I have noticed her licking her genitals a little more than usual but no other real behavior changes. It doesn't seem as though her nipples look anymore noticeably swollen. I am wondering should I take her back to the vet or maybe just give it a few more days? I just want everything to be ok for her and her kittens. Help any advice appreciated!!!!

So she is about 67 days or so? everything sounds normal for the moment, she might have been a little bit earlier then what the vet said.
You can normally start to feel kittens move around 7 weeks, sometimes it can be earlier if she has quite a few in there, sometimes it can be later if she is maybe only carrying 1-2 kittens. If you are worried please phone a vet as he/she will be able to advise you best.

I called my vet today and she is not concerned yet. She said she could have been off by a week or so. When she stated 4 weeks that was an approximation. She wants to see Bella next week if she hasn't had her kittens yet. So I feel better now.
