Genie's babies will be 2 weeks old this Friday and one of her little guys(5 boys I believe we have) has what appears to be a cold in his eye. It's halfway shut. Doesn't appear swollen or runny. Everyone's eyes are open. Should he see the vet for this? I already ran everyone to the vet for weight checks and today I thought one had an umbilical hernia(it didn't) and had a hurt paw(nope just fine). I'm a first time way overprotective kitty mama. Also, we re-arranged the furniture today and after taking her kitten to the vet without her I guess Genie totally freaked. She moved the kittens to my daughters room under her bed and I moved em back under mine but she refused to keep em there so I made her a place in my closet. Is this ok to keep her confined to my room? I don't want her moving her kittens to my 4 yr old's room because my daughter might inadvertently hurt one of the kittens by accident. TIA.

It's probably just not quite open yet. One of mine gets a little crustiness in one eye. I clean it with saline solution and then put a little antibiotic eye ointment in it. I think she will probably grow out of it. If it gets worse, I will take her in. If yours doesn't get crusty, it's probably just not quite ready to open all the way.
