My cat will be going through a diet change soon because of struvite crystals found in her urine. She's currently finishing up Hill's S/D as prescribed by her vet. He wants to continue her on C/D after her crystals have cleared. I think I can provide her with a better quality food.
She eats twice a day (no free feeding); she'll eat anything I put in front of her; and she's also a good drinker.
I like the cost and convenience of dry, and the moisture content and quality of wet. I've read that adding water to dry is not a good idea: http://www.blakkatz.com/dryfood.html
My questions:
1. Does anyone mix wet and dry for getting the best of both worlds?
2. What combinations of *quality* foods work well for you and your cat?
Thanks!
