I like mine Medium Rare to Medium. Usually with a little pink, but not a lot of pink. If that makes sense.

We usually have it at home and my hubby makes it on the grill. Most restaurants don't serve it the way I like it.

If I'm at a nice steakhouse, definately medium rare. At home, medium to medium well, but if I'm at Outback or Logan's or something, I get it medium...

Used to do well done but that = hard to digest ... now medium rare ... easy to digest and still has some natural enzymes

Lets hear your story!!!
How funny! My story is quite like yours. My family always ate their steaks well done (read "burnt".) When I met my husband, his family ate their steaks rare/medium rare...which, at the time, I thought was positively barbaric!!! He convinced me to try it...which I did with grave apprehension...only to find it to be most delicious. Now my family thinks I'm strange!
Actually, I hardly ever eat red meat, but on the very rare occasion that I eat a steak, I prefer it medium rare...not rare, not medium.

Medium rare, and I'd much rather have it underdone than overdone, so long as it's been on the heat long enough to brown nicely and warm through a bit. Any more than medium rare and you start losing the lovely flavour and juiciness.

I didn't eat red meat for years (I found the taste of blood *icky*) - now give me a medium rare steak - yummy!

I like mine rare to medium rare. Anything close to medium or well done to me is a ruined steak. Hubby on the other hand likes his well done. And out of 9 years together I have never been able to get him to try any other type other than well done.
