I just wanted to tell you all Lucy is better

Lucy went missing i found her with a broken tail and the nerves to her bladder damaged the vet wanted to put her to sleep as she needed her bladder expressed all the time she was in a bad way but i refused and brought her home after learning how to express her , these past few weeks have been hard ive been covered in pee no end of times as her bladder started to leak , my house has been covered in pee , no matter how much i showered i thought i smelt of pee hehe , ive scrubbed the house no end luckily its wooden flooring and tiles not carpet . anyway this last week Lucy has been peeing all herself ive not had to express any if i tried to make sure she was empty she pulled her legs up so i couldnt do it (her way of telling me she dosn't need me to do it ) her bladder is a bit stretched so we still have the odd accident but thats nothing to what i thought i was going to have to do for the rest of her life .
i just wanted to share with you all how well my little girl has come on in the last few weeks im so proud of her

another thing i hope my vet takes note of how Lucy has got better and if anyone else goes through the same with there cat the vet dont give up so easy like he tried to with Lucy

I'm so glad to hear about your little Lucy. I remember reading on pulled tails when we got Carly and the challenges they face. Carly was injured before we got her and her tail just hangs there with no feeling or control. Fortunately, no problems otherwise.

What are you cleaning with? You may need to use an enzyme cleaner like Natures Miracle, Zero Odor, or Nok-Out.

A friend in the UK sent me this

I've found some on this site if you scroll down

http://www.pet-supermarket.co.uk/ero...1AodwQgoQQ#1X0

Pets at home will stock it as well and theres one in your town

We've discussed with the vet about amputating Carly's tail because she has problems sometimes keeping that area clean. She gets a couple of butt baths a month. Haven't really come to a decision.
