You guys probably know that I love to cook. I occasionally review cookbooks for the newspaper. The one I am reviewing now is pretty awful. I have made a few recipes every night. We have also ordered take out or gone out because the meals were inedible. The recipes are not really organized. Even the stories she tells about her family cooking together require you to draw up a family tree.
I am really trying to say something nice about this cookbook. I did find 1 really good recipe. One out of the 10 I have tried.
My family is about to rebel if I cook one more dish. I just want 1 or 2 more recipes that I can say are good.

Rosmary, you has a great talent about it,....

Mexico country has their own recipes of meals of course some are very tipical and so hard to reproduce in other country (about the same ingredients...)

Can´t figure how delicious dishes you can do it!...
..
For me...
once I thought that I could be a Cook!...

I come from a family of good cooks. My Aunt Lotty is a great baker. Her 2 kids, my cousins Karl and Lyn, are both professional chefs. Lyn is the pastry chef but Karl is the head chef. We always knew that he was an ornery kid but now he is a temperamental chef.

My problem is not making the recipes. Just finding more than 1 that I can favorably review.

Off to the kitchen to turn my lamb shanks. Keep your fingers crossed.

Since you like to cook, and apparently have time to do so. Why not try making up your own recipes and publishing a book?

Nuh uh...might give me away!
If you are reviewing the book, aren't you expected to be honest? Would you wish this book on anyone?

I would be honest, because that's what people expect from a review. If you look for something nice to say, just to say something nice, you're not doing anyone a favor.

Either way, good luck! And make sure to buy extra Rolaids.

wow, that sounds bad! What kind of cookbook is it? Just a general home-cooking one?
