Well, Butzie showed me how to do it

Butzie likes, like just a few other cats, to shred the toilet paper on the roll. I went into the bathroom yesterday and there was little bits of shredded TP on top of my toilet. The pieces were so tiny that I knew Butzie was not the culprit.
I came in later and found Whitey Ford (picture below) shredding the TP on the shelf above the toilet where we keep the new rolls. I also caught Whitey picking at our towels so that there are places where you can tell that the towels have been nipped.
Whitey has been sexually mature for 3 years. I can't figure out why he thinks that he needs to build a nest this year. I hardly think that the plastic blind pull which is his mate (you would have to see it) needs a nest.

I am trying to imagine Whitey with a "pull" as his mate! Are you sure that he is the ONLY tp shredder? He might just be trying to get "the puddytat" in trouble!

Nope. You see his picture? He is an English budgie and he has been bred for his white color and his beautiful lilac markings. In fact, he has been inbred and so he is actually dumber than ditch water. I mean, he thinks a blind pull is his mate. He is a great talker and very sweet, though.

Sorry, but the blind pull is really becoming a pushy mate. She just demanded a new nest. It is so sweet that Whitey is being romantic.
