A red and white tortie girl has given birth to a rainbow of kittens! Seven to be exact and all healthy (Thank YOU Lord!) We have Firefly (the mom) (a curious kind of red looking tortie)who gave birth to a black -n-white, grey, tortise shell, white, black and orange and grey, and beige!!! Quite a rainbow litter! LOL I have never seen such a mix of colors in my life. Mother and kits are doing just fine- resting upstairs in a heated cupboard- will post pictures soon---

Hurray! I'm so glad all went well. Sounds like a gorgeous bunch of kittens. I can't wait to see the pictures. Something to look forward to.

Sounds like a handfull! I'm glad mom and her multicolored crew made it through the birthing safely.

I can't wait to see the pictures...and don't forget to take a picture of Whisp as well.

Think good thoughts today, this family is traveling!

My good friend Doris who also rescues is going to take this new feral and family. Doris lives just down the road, so the trip won't be to stressful. Mike is falling in love with 2 kittens, and I am in love with 3! I need to move them before that love is sealed and we add more cats- because I can't have any more cats than I do, or I will be over the legal limit allowed here. Doris has 18 acres, and her and her hubby just finished this beautiful nursery for ferals, so these guys are going to a great place. I took almost a whole roll of pictures (I know, I am fanatical) and I will take them in this week and post them for ya'all---

Mary Anne, I hope the move went OK and that Mom and kittens are happily and safely ensconced in their new home. I bet you & Mike miss them - but sounds like this is a great solution - both for you and for the family.

...can't wait to see pics!

Doris took the family to the vet the other day and the vet said Fire had been mated with multiple times to produce such a colorful family- the whole family found homes already!! Fire will stay with her kittens until they are 12 weeks old, the kittens will go to approved homes, and Fire will return here to us, after she is spayed of course!

YIPPEEEEE!!!!

Wow - you and apparently your friends, are absolute miracle-workers when it comes to finding kitty parents!!! I'm happy, amazed, and I must admit, a little bit jealous. Gary and I still have so much to learn!

Woo hoo!
Little hussy!

We were told the same thing about Lilith, her litter was multicolored, as well.
Jules: orange tabby
Blondie: Buff tabby
Polly: Blue poly
Pan: Brown tabby
Silver: Silver tabby
Max: dilute tortie

(Plus there were another two kittens who did't make it past their first few hours
a second brown tabby and a tortie.)

Nothing like a rainbow of kittens!

I'm also toe-tapping waiting for pics of the furry rainbow (and Whisp, warrior purrincess)!
