Hello, I am looking for a music download sites that supports iPods. I would like the site to have a monthly fee instead of a pay per song. I use to use Limewire but discovered the site was illegal. I like to listen to Christian, country, children's and easy listening music, so I would like the site to have a library with a large selection and types of music. Thank-you in advance.

I use eMule (a file sharing program) to download my MP3 files. In Canada it's legal to file share music so I'm not breaking any laws. However we do pay hefty a tarrif on all media related products from MP3 players, to stereos, to VCR/DVD players/recorders, to blank cassette/DVD/CD/VHS tapes for that privilege.

So far as sites for those not in Canada to use, I've heard that iMesh is a good one.

I don't have an iPod, but isn't that just a brand name MP3 player? If so, the files you need are "MP3".

If I can remember any other pay music sites I'll post back.

If you like older stuff and indy stuff, http://www.emusic.com/ is one where you pay a monthly fee for a certain number of downloads (cheapest plan is $9.99 for 30 downloads). You won't find much in the way of current music on there, though.

with iPod you have to have iTune's. well, i think there are program's that treat it as an MP3 player. however, i myself have only come across one, & it didn't work LOL.

that's the only problem with iPod's! it take's sooo long putting your music on it, which also mean's you have "two" of everything, because an iTune's folder is created automatically straight after.
