Your Favorite Word

What's your favorite word and why?

My favorite is swimmingly. I love adverbs and it's like a double adverb. It's also a positive word and I like water and swimming, too.

One of the surgeons I assist all the time called me "obstreperous". I kind of like that word.

Yeah, that pretty much describes me! I'm kind of opinionated and headstrong.
I especially like the "aggressively boisterous" part!

Well, pronounced like sexay.

I use it way too much People must think I'm weird.

I like the word purple (I like the color too) just because of the way it rolls off the tongue. I don't think that any word rhymes with purple either.

I also like the British word "spiffing" it just has that whole "stiff upper lip" sound

Probably ubiquitous... dunno why... but it's every where!

I like the word booty... pronounced: bootaaaaayy. not sure why, its just a funny word for butt. like another poster i also like saying sexy, but saying it like, sexaaayy. i like ending certain words with aaayyyyy.

Mine is sphygmomanometer. It is the pressure cuff they use to take your blood pressure. I just think it's a great word for some reason.

I have always thought the most mellifluous word in English is "burlington."

But mellifluous runs a close second!

I like the word optimistic, guess because it's the basis for my whole personality..

I'm not allowed to say on here. (JK) I really don't have a favorite word.

I use "Awesome" waaaaaaaaay to much
