AUGH!!! I scored a whopping 3580 in Balloon Hunter, wondering why it wouldn't finish and submit my score... then I realized I'd had it on a practice setting the whole time!

Do you log in every time you visit TCS, or did you check the "remember me" button? If you have it so that you have to log in each time you visit TCS, you will get timed out. At work I have it set so that I have to log in each time, and if I'm playing a game, I get timed out of TCS, and I lose the score.

tutti_bella, it does sound like a cookie issue, so Jana has some good tips there.

I'll look up that game on my resource site. Some of the games have two versions. I tried not to put two versions of the same game on the arcade, not to make it too confusing, but I could try that on some games, if you want to give it a try.

I also got 500 pts & it was before playing a game. I have been getting them for at least a month now, once a week.

The arcade has only been open since the 21st of March. I've only gotten 500 points once. I thought it was because I have the #1 score in a game, because I read that there would be bonus points awarded for high scores.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to auto log in from now. Phew! I was playing another game and got up to 300,000 plus points and yeah, your score is not submitted. Grrr....

Edit : Nope, it's not working. I got log off again after playing Crime Puzzle and I can't get my score to be submitted. I spent about 15 mins there too ... dang!

I think you're talking about the 500 points paying members get every week, i.e., their "paycheck". It's one of the perks of a subscription.

I am seriously going to cry
I've been playing Bookworm like a maniac, trying to get high score (or at least 2nd
) and I've figured that you have to get the bonus words. so I was on a real roll, cranking them out and was up to over 55,000 points and the last word I submitted was at the same time that the timer ended
If you play this game you probably know that it does not submit the score when this happens
I am going to pout in the corner

Nope...March 1st is when I posted a thank you thread about it. I PMed a few other people who also got the 500 mysterious donation....I don't think it's arcade related.

Weird... The amount is set at 200 and I don't think it's working anyway. Danny is supposed to patch things up, and that would be when we start charging for the arcade too btw.

Sounds like the subscribers paycheck to me. You were a paying member until March 3rd, so I am guessing the "payments" came in during that period?

Sounds like a cookie issue to me. Which browser are you using? I imagine you need to set it to accept cookies from TCS.

Is there any way to remove a high score? I am listed with a score I didn't earn on 3-D Tetris--I had been playing a different game in one tabe and had opened another tab for 3-D Tetris. When I finished the first game, my score was recorded for 3-D Tetris instead of the game I was playing.

Also, I don't know if others might be affected by this glitch?

No it had ended already. I even talked to a few members who weren't a paying member they also got the 500 pts.

I think it might be more than 2?! I know the one time I played it the first two words I tried (maybe 3) were "bad" words that were accepted.

It does crack me up because it doesn't recognize some words, but will recognize those.

I'm going to have to find out which one is the third

oh yeah, Bookworm likes naughty words


also, while we're on Bookworm, I have discovered a way to get around the lock out that happens when you complete a word right as the timer ends: you hit the X that is next to the timer

OK, on 8 ball championship, sometimes the game registers that you scratched when you didn't. That's bull.

I played an 8 ball tourney /3 out of 3 games yesterday...
the computer scratched on it's second hit....twice.

I would not have won anyway...
I was playing against pool sharks.
At least now, I have an excuse for losing.


Keep in mind, this is all in good fun.
