Nice to called a kitten...

Hello. At 41, it's nice to be referred to as a kitten.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and am so happy to find others who love talking about cats! We have an elegant-looking but clumsy tabby called Coco and and a buffoonish lilac Burmese called Cooga. Autumn is finally here, and with the cooler weather, the cats are becoming more interested in sitting on laps again. I love that!

My affection for cats overtook dogs years ago, probably once I had kids and found the dog was just too needy and boisterous. I love the calm energy of cats and their gentle attention. We still have a dog, but I'll take the cats anytime!

Our tabby is a ditsy thing - would like to know more about ditsy behaviour...what's normal, what's not...so I look forward to learning from you and hopefully paying it forward.
