For once i got left with no come-back

which does not happen often

for those who remember the question about sending the chocolate to the overseas IT person(i did not know she was coming here)

well that person is now here in the US for the next couple of months until the IT project is done. No big deal.

however she seems to much perfer my couch over the hotel room. She has rented a car and stuff to get to the office. Its no big deal i dont mind her staying at my house. The cats have gotten used to her already.

However the IT manger for the client just stuck her head in the door checking on some stuff. then as she was leaving the office said,

So, i wonder why we are paying for her to have a hotel room and she is living with you. (she laughed and smiled) and left..

i must need more coffee, cause it took me by Surprise, and could not think of a thing to say

My bro-in-law gets the same deal when he is sent on an overseas job. Sometimes he books himself in a cheaper but favorite hotel even though his employer is paying for a more expensive one. He tells me that not only he is staying in a place he prefers but he is also saving money.

No it was not joke, we been having issues for last year or so.
