I took Pepper to the vet today because she has an ear infection. Poor kitty, she was so good though! Anyway, while I was sitting there a lady came in with this small kitten. I noticed something was wrong with it's eyes, so I asked her about it. It turns out that the kitten was a rescue cat and she has an eye defect in both eyes. It was a beautiful kitten - I felt so bad for her! Anyway, we were talking and she noticed Pepper's pink Soft Paws. She said "oh, what are those?" and I showed her and told her that we did it because it's a better alternative to declawing. Her response was "Oh I always declaw my cats. I rescue them all the time and get it done." I didn't know what to say! I am so glad that she rescues cats, but I wish that she was better educated. I tried to tell her, but she was just so stubborn that she wouldn't listen!
Anyway, I just felt so bad for that little kitty. She was precious...
